Harrow Appi Japan caters for students aged 11 to 18 and, as a full boarding school, closely mirrors the experience of studying at Harrow School in the UK. Surrounded by the great outdoors, high achieving students excel both academically and physically.

Tucked away in the mountains of Northern Japan, Harrow Appi Japan makes full use of its natural environment to educate children holistically.

mountainbiking

A core part of our academic offering is in our enrichment activities. Students have access to a wealth of activities including mountain biking, hiking, golf, and tennis in the summer and autumn months.

71 percent of our teachers are from the UK with the rest hailing from Australia, South Africa, and beyond. Due to our full-boarding environment, students get exceptionally close support from their teachers.

snowboarding

In the winter, students have opportunities to ski or snowboard four times a week.

Underpinning all this is our full-boarding environment. This unlocks our potential as a school to provide close pastoral care, and lets children form exceptionally strong bonds with each other.
